I help people achieve their own unique version of peak health and performance.

Professionalism. Expertise. Empathy.

I aim to provide my clients with the most scientifically informed training approach, but without losing the person along the way. I consider not just your physiology, but your psychology, lifestyle and individual stressors to build a bespoke, sustainable training approach for you.

Helping people from all walks of life get stronger, fitter and more athletic through evidence based and person-centred coaching

Whether it be excessively rigid nutrition strategies, a training program that’s too physically demanding, time consuming, or doesn’t sufficiently manage existing pain/injuries, far too often I see people trying to persist with approaches that are simply not adequate for them in the context of their own individual lives, and inevitably burning out in the process. Unfortunately, this frequently gets interpreted as a fault or a shortcoming on behalf of the individual themselves, rather than the training approach.

This damages self-esteem, motivation and cultivates a negative relationship to all things health and fitness. More often than not, it is not a personal failing on behalf of the individual, but the failing of an approach that is too rigid and inflexible. I pride myself on working with my clients to co-create a bespoke training plan that can be seamlessly integrated into their lifestyle. This allows the clients I work with to move beyond the ‘all or nothing’ thinking that is synonymous with a lot of health and fitness approaches, towards a sustainable approach that fosters continued growth and development over the long term.

It all Starts with Strength

Strength training has been a large part of my life for over 7 years, having competed at a regional and national level in Powerlifting, and coached countless individuals with strength orientated goals, from recreational to international level Powerlifters. Through my own toils with gravity, I have come to realise that strength training can have a profoundly positive effect on not just an individuals physical health, but also mental health. There have been times in my own life where the barbell has been by therapy and a place to channel adversity into a positive outcome, and I am passionate about providing the same opportunity for others.  Whether your goal is to gain strength to improve your quality of life, stay resilient and injury free as a competitive athlete, reduce age related decline in physical function, or to increase your powerlifting total, I am here to guide the path.
